Why do coffee's come and go off of the website?

 

Just like produce in the grocery store, coffee is a crop and has seasons of harvest. We pride ourselves on selecting coffees that are in season to highlight their excellent taste!

When does coffee taste the best?

 

While coffee doesn't have a set expiration date, it is encouraged to drink 1-4 weeks after the roast date on the label. This allows for the coffee to have ample time to de-gas, and not go stale.

What is the best way to store the coffee after I receive it?

Our bags are selected to prioritize freshness of the beans. They are designed with a 1-way valve that allows the coffee to de-gas Co2, but not allow in oxygen which speeds up the aging process.
